1 Appellant, Darlene M. McGlumphy, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged, tried and convicted in the Tulsa County District Court, Case No. CRF-73-1805, for the offense of Possession of a Forged Instrument, in violation of 21 O.S. 1971 § 1579 [21-1579]. The jury recommended, and the court imposed, a sentence of five (5) years imprisonment. From said judgment and sentence a timely appeal has been perfected to this Court.
